HackFit 2013 – Boston

posted in: Learning | 1

Last weekend I participated in Boston HackFit, my first Hackathon! One more thing to take off the bucket list. This was a really unusual Hackathon in that it combined fitness and hacking and the goal was both to workout and to create content. I joined the myPerfectForm team and we created a web site to allow users to sign in, upload a video to YouTube, and then have a professional trainer comment in detail on the client’s form – whether doing a situp properly or getting a dance routine down. You can take a look at http://www.myperfectform.co. It would be cool to keep building out this product as it’s a good idea. I’m posting a few pics here – it was a great time! Shout out to myPerfectForm for one of the most diverse teams out there!

  1. [...] Jen also participated in Hack-Fit, a hackathon dedicated to creating fitness-oriented software. Her team created myPerfectForm.co, and hopes to release the app soon. Check out Jen’s pictures from the event. [...]
